We have gone a bit retro this week with two new additions on the website:

One is a futuristic War of the Worlds inspired lamp by Cardboard Boutique.
Other lamp shade designs by the Nottingham maker using recycled cardboard have been incredibly popular but this one of a kind lamp uses corex ( a type of strong, lightweight plastic 'cardboard' used mainly for signs).
It has a domed shade and a subtle orange glow. The stand is in a tripod style reminiscent of that genre. Perfect for any science fiction addict !

 The other item is a Mid Century solid teak display cabinet by Turnidge of London - a niche British maker in the 1960's and 1970's 
The back of the cabinet is mirrored and the shelves are glass - perfect for retail.

Here Dezigne we are loving jewellery with tassels - perfect for a bohemian Summer !We have necklaces and earrings in a variety of designs and colours from pretty pinks, mint and lavender to dark purple and dramatic black. 
First, there were statement necklaces and now there are statement earrings - big, bold and colourful.
Khloe Kardashian was seen recently wearing a pair of beautiful silky turquoise blue tassel earrings.Tassel earrings have been around for a few years, but they are EVERYWHERE on the catwalk... and they've morphed into new designs- with rhinestones and crystals giving them that little bit of glamour. they look boho-ish during the day. Then, they turn slinky and elegant when the sun goes down.

With Mother's Day just around the corner (March 11th ) we thought we could give you a few gift ideas.

We have these lovely patent leather handbags with a gorgeous butterfly and floral design and are available in a range of colours - black, navy, grey, ivory, pink and almond - perfect for Spring ! Prices range from £15 to £27.

Unfortunately we no longer have our lovely little shop in Goosegate, Nottingham but we do still have an online shop and we still passionately believe in the small production, handmade, unique and individual philosophy.

We have been able to introduce some products from designers such as Tom Dixon and Graypants as well as retaining some of our local makers and designers.
The recycled cardboard lampshades have been a really good seller and we can't wait to introduce more lovely products for the home - including furniture, soft furnishings and home decor.

It's still a bit chilly out there so we thought you might want to snuggle up with these super soft and chunky knitted throws !
